Halloween

Aaron had been playing around with magic for a few months. After his latest bit of research, he discovered Halloween to be a night when magic is particularly strong. In fact, with the right spell, he could use the night as a conduit to increase his power permanently. Thus with a few words, he raised his hands in the air and a cloud of smoke rose forth.

He didn’t exactly feel more powerful, but he didn’t quite feel right either. Something had changed, but he just couldn’t quite place his finger on what. Despite his research, he had never discovered the basic fact that female witches were more powerful than male ones. Increasing his power was achieved through his magic by simply changing his gender.
